I shot 'The Obscure Celebrity' during my years at the Swedish School of Television. The film was shown by the Open Channel in Sweden 2002.

It portrayed my old friend Sam Klebanov who formally also resides in Sweden but in reality is being torn among short visits to his newfound Scandinavian fatherland, different international film festivals and Moscow, where he has made a career in film and TV circles.

This short film showed Sam's 'double life' - as a semi-celebrity in the bustling metropolis of Moscow and a ’normal', anonymous person in a sleepy Swedish suburbia.
